INcluded workshop
by Planned Parenthood
INcluded is a 3 hour workshop that delivers inclusive and relevant sex education for LGBTQ+ youth (14 – 24 year olds). Learn about sexual safety, ways to empower yourself with sexual health knowledge, and how to use new skills and tools to advocate for yourself in a healthcare setting.
The program shows proven outcomes in increasing use of sexual health services, reducing rates of risky sexual behavior, and increasing knowledge of sexual health and self-efficacy in a healthcare setting.
YOUTH GET A $30 GIFT CARD FOR ATTENDING
Our Youth Action Circle is designed for teens who are curious about themselves and their community, and wanting to be a part of creating an inclusive and equitable community.
Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6pm at the YWCA Olympia, located at 220 Union Avenue.
The opening of each gathering involves a check-in as well as a brief overview and contextual understanding of the social justice subject matter. Subsequently, an open dialogue is fostered, enabling collective learning from one another. By adhering to the YWCA's guiding principle of Eliminating Racism and Sexism, all conversations will be grounded in an intersectional, feminist, and anti-racist framework.
Tuesdays, 4:30-6:00 PM (formerly Mondays): Join us for community building, peer support, and youth-led activities.
Thursdays, 4:30-6:00 PM: Focused on education, these sessions will dive into important social justice topics. Every other week, we’re excited to welcome guest speakers from the Puget Sound Estuarium, who will provide insights into environmental education.

Youth 1 on navigation
We are committed to providing support to the youth in our community, and for this, we offer one on ones with one of our facilitators
In these meetings we offer extra support and help navigating resources the youth needs, as well as being a trusted adult in their life. This could look like going out for coffee, a walk, take them to an appointment, etc.
